The Analog Sound AS-335 is the first 300B integrated amplifier in Line Magnetic's flagship Analog Sound series, created as a tribute to Western Electric by a design team whose roots lie in restoring and replicating WE's legendary equipment. At its heart are eight replica Western Electric transformers, including the WE 171A output transformers of the famed 1936 WE 91A, WE 618B input transformers, a WE 359M power transformer and three WE filter chokes, alongside a 5Z4 valve rectifier and custom 300B output valves driven by 12AX7 and 6SN7 stages.

Unlike most 300B designs, the AS-335 includes a true preamplifier stage, and a front-panel switch lets you choose between direct bypass and the 618B input transformers for greater scale and authority. The result is single-ended 300B magic with a modern sensibility: dense, lifelike midrange, generous bass weight, uncompressed dynamics and a wide, deep soundstage, with enough drive to bring even modest-sensitivity bookshelf speakers to life.

Eight transformers: Legendary Western Electric Replica Model 618B input transformers for pre-amp stage, and Western Electric Replica model 171A output transformers for output stage， WE359M power transformer, WE221G & WE179A filter chokes,

Front panel bypass switch for input transformer: This switch allows you to choose whether the signal passes through the input transformer. In the "Trans" position, where the signal goes through the transformer, the sound stage’s mid and low frequencies are broadened, delivering a warmer, more “tube-like” sound. In the "bypass" position, where the transformer is bypassed, the amplifier delivers faster response, greater impact, and a wider sound stage, particularly enhancing the experience of large-scale symphonic music.
