Main Features
Each Analog Music Special Structure Cable is handcrafted through a complex and time-intensive manufacturing process. Proprietary chemical treatments are applied to the conductors to help reduce the effects of electromagnetic interference and unwanted resonance during signal transmission. The cable geometry is carefully controlled to optimise conductor interaction, minimising the effects of skin effect, capacitance, and inductance that can influence soundstage realism and imaging accuracy.
Every cable undergoes meticulous hand assembly using custom fixtures, followed by physical stabilisation, electrostatic coating treatment, and protection with a specially developed hybrid-fibre anti-vibration sleeve. Connection methods and termination materials are individually selected for each model to maximise performance.
The flagship MLC-3 inter-connectors employ pure silver conductors paired with silver-plated connectors and precision hot-solder construction. The MLC-5 speaker cable and MLC-6 power cable utilise rhodium-plated alloy connectors manufactured using a cold-weld process for optimal conductivity and long-term reliability.
To further enhance signal integrity, Analog Music has developed its own proprietary four-stage soldering technique. After assembly, every cable undergoes a continuous one-week burn-in and quality assurance process before being released.
