2026 Melbourne Hi-Fi Show Recap

23 Oct

What an amazing show!

This year, we arrived far better prepared, and the encouraging results were a testament to that effort. In a year when many familiar exhibitors were absent, we were proud to continue building momentum and reaching new milestones.

Some of the feedback we received throughout the show included:

"This is the end room!"

"Finally, I can listen to nice classical music!"

"I can really hear the emotions in the music!"

Several audio reviewers spent extended time listening in our room, with one commenting:

"I'm not joking or just being polite, but your room is one of the best at the show."

Visitors were impressed not only by the performance of the system, but also by the way the components complemented one another. Our printed brochures disappeared quickly, and many attendees returned multiple times throughout the weekend.

One of the highlights for us was the number of people who shared their own music and hi-fi journeys. Many requested favourite tracks, engaged in lengthy discussions, and came back for additional listening sessions.

Some of the standout reactions included:

Gauder Akustik Elargo 200 was praised for its musicality, deep bass authority, and ability to effortlessly command the room.
The Maxwell 909 impressed listeners with its seemingly limitless power reserves and effortless control of the large Gauder loudspeakers.
The Cen.Grand GLD1.0 and DSDAC1.0 duo received praise for its natural tonality, refinement, and musicality.
The Analog Sound components proved to be genuine showstoppers. Comments included:
- "I love the product design!"
- "They look fantastic."
- "It looks like it's been pulled straight out of a Russian submarine."

Thank you to everyone who visited our room and spent time listening with us!

For those who would like a more relaxed and extended listening experience, the Analog Sound AS-337N integrated amplifier is now available for audition at the Premium Sound showroom on St Kilda Road.
